More About Sarasota Fishing Charters

The questions we most commonly receive about Sarasota Fishing Charters are answered here:

  • You don’t need to buy your own fishing license.

  • The type of fish we catch will depend upon the season and local fishing regulations.

  • We are licensed coast guard Captains

  • Our trips are excellent for families, even with very small children, or older adults.

  • A lot of what you will catch on your Sarasota Fishing Charter Depends on the Season. Sarasota waters are home to a variety of exciting nearshore and gulf fish species including Snook, Redfish, Pompano, Trout, Tarpon, Kingfish, Permit, Shark, Cobia, and Amberjack among others.

If there is a species you know you are after, please let us know before your charter day arrives so we can discuss it with you.

  • You don’t need to get your own fishing license. It is part of your charter. The boat “carries” up to the number of licenses equal to the number of people we can take out.

  • Yes, our fishing charter Captains are licensed. This is important, and we believe you should ask this of anyone before they take you out on a fishing charter.
