Gulf Deep Sea Charter Fishing Sarasota, Florida

4 and 6 hour deep sea charter fishing trips are recommended.

My annual Florida charter fishing license allows up to four anglers. At any rate, more than four people fishing makes it difficult for me to provide the quality service and instruction you should expect from your captain although, one observer is OK.

$450 for 4 hours offshore fishing and $650 for 6 hours offshore fishing. "Tips gratefully accepted although, not a requirement."

We have various charter fishing trips to choose from: Either a four hour or a six hour Sarasota Bay and near shore (up to 3 miles) trip for trout, snook, redfish, spanish mackerel, kingfish, tarpon, cobia and sheepshead, among other fun fish to catch.

Alternatively, if you want to get into bigger fish and more of an adventure, choose an offshore charter. A four hour or six hour offshore charter fishing trip for grouper, snapper, permit, kingfish, cobia, shark, tuna, sail fish, amberjack and barracuda.

For the seriously hardcore fisherman/woman, an 8 hour Sarasota offshore charter fishing trip is also available.

We meet at and sail from Bay Island Park by the North Bridge to Siesta Key.

What to bring with you.

First and foremost, don’t forget to bring a camera or smartphone. I usually have a camera aboard, but to be on the safe side bring your own along. I have a cooler for your food and drinks and yes, beer is OK. Please don’t bring a Styrofoam cooler with you – I have never returned to the dock with one of those things intact.

I have cheap disposable ponchos on board in case of rain, but if the weather doesn’t look good, we won’t go out, we’ll reschedule the trip. Sunscreen is a real good idea if you don’t already have a base tan. Polarized sunglasses are another good idea – they cut the glare of the water so you can better see the fish you’re catching.

A 5th person to join, (but not fish) is OK, but please let me know. Due to burning more fuel, I have to add $50.00 to the cost of the trip to cover the extra person.

* PLEASE NOTE * The equipment used aboard the Wild Mullet is very high end, and therefore expensive to replace. Improper handling may lead to broken or lost equipment. Because of this we have a "you break it, you buy it policy." Please follow close attention to the instructions of your captain to avoid any issues.
