Both deep sea charter fishing and Sarasota Bay charter fishing.
The Wild Mullet charter fishing boat is so economical to run therefore, I am able to pass those savings on to my customers.
The prices below are for the boat and not per person
Sarasota Bay Charter Fishing
4 hour fishing trip - $300 6 hour - $400
Gulf Deep Sea Charter Fishing
4 hour fishing trip - $395 6 hour - $595
My annual Florida charter fishing license allows up to four anglers, no more. At any rate, more than four people fishing makes it difficult for me to provide the quality service and instruction you should expect from your Captain.
We have various charter fishing trips to choose from: Either a four hour or a six hour Sarasota Bay and near shore (up to 3 miles) trip for trout, snook, redfish, Spanish mackerel, kingfish, tarpon, cobia and sheepshead, among other fun fish to catch.
Alternatively, if you want to get into bigger fish and more of an adventure, choose an offshore charter. A four hour or six hour offshore charter fishing trip for grouper, snapper, permit, kingfish, cobia, shark, tuna, sail fish, amberjack and barracuda.
For the seriously hardcore fisherman/woman, an 8 hour Sarasota offshore charter fishing trip is also available.
All of my trips run out of Hart’s Landing (directions) in downtown Sarasota and have since 1986. Hart’s has been in the same location at the foot of the Ringling Causeway for 80 or more years. Sitting out on Sarasota Bay atop stilts, Hart’s Landing is truly a local landmark. The photo of Stumpy was taken at Hart's. Old Stumpy was my mascot for 7 or 8 years, until he died of old age. I'd leave the lid off of the livewell and let him "sneak" the remainder of my bait.
What to bring with you.
First and foremost, don’t forget to bring a camera. I usually have one aboard, but to be on the safe side bring your own along. I have a cooler for your food and drinks and yes, beer is OK. Please don’t bring a Styrofoam cooler with you - I have never returned to the dock with one of those things intact.
I have cheap disposable ponchos on board in case of rain, but if the weather doesn’t look good, we won’t go out, we’ll reschedule the trip. Sunscreen is a real good idea if you don’t already have a base tan. Polarized sunglasses are another good idea – they cut the glare of the water so you can better see the fish you’re catching.
A 5th person to join but not fish is OK, but please let me know.
